I first discovered TAYGRA shoes through dancing, and I was instantly intrigued. Once I wore them, it was game over. The softness, the lightness, the way they hugged my foot like a second skin - they were unlike any sneaker I’d ever tried.
Originally marketed as dance shoes in other parts of the world, I saw their true potential: everyday comfort, planet-friendly materials, and something you’d actually want to wear all day. For a long time, I kept the idea of stocking TAYGRAs close to my heart. I wasn’t sure how it would fit with my previous business, Move Me Dancewear. People told me to stay in my niche, that competing in the sneaker space was unrealistic.
But I knew better.

Launching The Sole Co. means sharing footwear that aligns with my values: protecting the Earth, honouring ethical practices, and feeling damn good while doing it.
