SO, WHAT EXACTLY ARE TAYGRAS?

TAYGRAs are lightweight, ridiculously flexible sneakers handmade in Brazil.
They’re softer and less structured than most sneakers, with flexible soles and uppers that move with your feet rather than holding them rigidly in place.
They first found a following with dancers because of that freedom of movement. But you definitely don’t need to dance in them. Walk in them. Travel in them. Chase kids in them. Wear them to dinner. They’re made for real life.
And yes - they really are that bendy.
BUILT TO BEND

TAYGRAs are ridiculously flexible - and that’s very much the point.
Their soft construction and flexible sole let your feet bend and move naturally, without the stiffness and bulk of a traditional sneaker.
Walk in them. Dance in them. Live in them.
THE TAYGRA FEEL
THEY’RE GOING TO FEEL DIFFERENT.
If you’re used to thick, heavily cushioned sneakers, you’ll notice the difference straight away.
TAYGRAs are lightweight, flexible and much less structured. Instead of your feet being held inside a stiff shoe, they’re free to bend and move.
The Classic has a little more structure, while the Corrida and Corridalta feel softer and more sock-like.
They might feel a little unusual the first time you put them on. Give them a little time to soften and mould to your feet and you’ll understand why people keep reaching for them.
GETTING THE FIT RIGHT
SNUG IS GOOD. PAINFUL ISN’T.
TAYGRAs are designed to fit close to your foot, and a new pair can feel surprisingly snug at first.
That’s intentional. The soft uppers give and mould to your feet with wear, so you don’t want them feeling loose straight out of the bag.
They should feel firm and secure, but never painfully tight.
If you’re between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up.
KEEPING THEM FRESH
YES, YOU CAN WASH THEM.
TAYGRAs are surprisingly easy to look after. When they need a refresh, remove the insoles, pop the shoes in a garment bag and wash them on a cold, gentle cycle.
Let them air dry completely - and they’re ready to go again.
